Tu-tu cute!

Halloween is just around the corner!  I made Sky a tu-tu for her to wear to her dance class the month of October.  It turned out so cute!  If any of you would like one, just let me know...

Pink & Brown, Polka dots & Stripes

Probably my favorite combo right now.  Sky's room is pink and brown and I love it. 

This week I made a rag blanket, wrapped it up and put a HAIR bow on top.  I think it turned out to be a pretty dang cute present.  I love making things and the blanket was new for me.  The matching bow of course is what made it so cute!!

I love to learn and create new things.  As you can see, I am working on something to hold bows so they don't end up getting smashed, squished and/or tweaked in a drawer somewhere.  So be sure to check back soon.  If you like them, I'd certainly be happy to show you how to make your own or I can make one for you.  It's fun.  It's exciting to come up with new things.  I enjoy making bows.  I make them mainly for my own girls and my sisters girls.  It's been a big hit as baby shower gifts too.  My latest and greatest hobby is that of photography.  I have taken necessary steps to learn and grow in this area of my life.  It's exciting to buy new "toys" and learn how to use them.  Check out my photography blog as I document my journey of photography...

I like being creative and making things.  I may have gotten this trait from my dad who is the exact same way.  He lights up when he is given the chance to make something for someone.  I have a coffee table in my living room to show for his incredible talent.  

It adds so much to put big bows in their hair!!!
